The Booster Club is an all-volunteer organization of swim parents that supports all athletes on the team through fundraising and the volunteering of time. When your family joins the team you automatically become a member of the Booster Club.
The purpose of the MAG-South Boosters, as defined by the by-laws, is to support, promote, foster and encourage competitive swimming among the youthful members of the MAG-South Swim Club. The Booster Club is an incorporated, non-profit organization.
MAG-South's Booster Club officers are as follows:
President: Chris Morin
Vice President: Nancy Bradley
Treasurer: Karen Durand
You may contact the MAG-South Booster Club via boosterclub@magsouth.org
The mission of the MAG-South Booster Club is to build a positive community among swimmers, coaches, and swim families. The MAG-South Booster Club partners with the coaching staff to promote swimmer development and success. The Booster Club does not run the swim team --- we are facilitators. Hence part of our role is to encourage volunteerism among swim parents, fundraising, and educate new and existing families.
There are periodic parent meetings to help with orientation to the swim program and planning events. Announcements will be posted or noted online at www.magsouth.org. You are urged to attend. Minutes for meetings will be posted on the communications section of the web site.
